Please take a moment to review our policies and procedures before placing an ordering. Many of them are based on the policies and procedures of our manufactures and freight companies and are designed to help our customers.
Shipping Methods
Most items are shipped via UPS or FedEx. Larger and heavier items are shipped motor freight which is a curbside delivery and usually requires a signature. In most cases the freight company will contact you to schedule a delivery date and time.
Delivery Time
Most orders arrive in 10-14 business days, or sooner, with the exception of custom made products or special orders. Please understand that this time frame is an estimate and is contingent upon the processing methods of each of our manufacturers. At Starlight Décor we make every effort to select manufacturers that consider customer satisfaction their main objective.
Billing
To protect from fraud, orders will be charged in advance, generally 24-72 hours from the time the order is placed.
Returns
The return of any item must be requested within 15 days of receipt. All items being returned must receive a return authorization from Starlight Decor. Customers will be responsible for paying all round trip freight charges. The Free Shipping offer does not apply to returned merchandise. We only charge our actual invoiced amount for shipping which will be deducted from your refund. In most cases, the customer will be responsible for shipping the returned merchandise.
Returns are also subject to restocking fees which vary by manufacturer and are typically 25%-50% of the price. All fees and charges will be withheld from you refund. Your refund will be issued once the manufacturer has received the returned item.
We cannot accept returns on items that have been assembled.
We cannot accept returns on items that are not in their original packaging.

Damage Returns
If your merchandise is damaged, please send us an email within 24hrs of delivery. We cannot be responsible for damaged merchandise that is not reported to Starlight Décor immediately.
If there is obvious damage at the time of delivery, you may refuse delivery of the merchandise. Please contact Starlight Décor immediately so that we can send you a replacement.
If there is obvious damage at the time of delivery, and you choose to accept the merchandise, it is important that all damage is noted on the delivery receipt before you sign it. Open the merchandise and inspect it right away. If there is damage to the merchandise, please contact Starlight Décor within 24 hrs. We cannot be responsible for damaged merchandise that is not reported to Starlight Décor immediately.
We reserve the right to replace damaged parts whenever possible and will do a full replacement when necessary.
We will take care of shipping costs for replacement shipments and damage returns on damaged merchandise. However, we do ask that you assist in getting the merchandise back to the manufacturer. If we do not receive the damaged item back to the warehouse, we will charge your credit card for the non-returned item.
We cannot accept damage returns on items that have been assembled.
We cannot accept damage returns on items that are not in their original packaging.
We cannot file damage claims with the freight companies without the original packaging.

Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund prior to the merchandise being loaded on the truck for shipment. Once your order is loaded on the truck for shipment, the truck cannot be unloaded to remove your item. If you wish to cancel your order after it is loaded, you will be responsible for the round trip shipping charges and any fees the shipper charges to reroute the shipment. Restocking fees may also be charged depending on the manufacturer.
Back Orders
In order to avoid excessive shipping charges, any order that contains an item that is on back order will be shipped complete once the back order item is available. If you wish to have the shipment split up, you will be responsible for the extra shipping charges. We will advise if there will be a delay as soon as possible.
Starlight Decor cannot be responsible for pricing or other errors, and reserves the right to cancel orders arising from such errors.
